Paolo Mastropietro is an environmental engineer specialised in energy and sustainability and he is pursuing his PhD on electricity market regulation. He joined the research team at Comillas Pontifical University after a three-year experience in the energy sector. In parallel with his PhD, he is carrying out consultancy activities in the field of electric power systems regulation (currently involved in a project devoted to the analysis of power sector regulation in the Latin American context). Since 2012 he is developing his Thesis focused on the design elements of capacity remuneration mechanisms and their implementation in a regional market context.
