Ken Quesnelle


Ken Quesnelle was appointed as a full time member of the Ontario (Canada) Energy Board in August of 2005 and as Vice Chair of the Board in February 2014. Ken has worked in many various positions in the electricity distribution sector and served as Chair of the Electricity Distributors’ Association of Ontario. He was a very active participant in the remodeling of the electricity distribution sector in Ontario as it transitioned to the current commercial framework. Ken has over 30 years of experience in the utility business which includes electricity and water distribution as well as water supply and related environmental protection. He is the Past Chair of CAMPUT (Canada's Energy and Utility Regulators) and the Chair of the International Confederation of Energy Regulators’ (ICER) working group on Consumer Issues. Ken is also a member of the Advisory Council of the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) and a non-voting member of the Members’ Representative Committee of the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC).
