Dr. Katelijn Van Hende is currently a Lecturer at University College London’s first overseas basis in Australia, at the School of Energy and Resources. She is the course leader for Law for Energy and Resources and International Policy and Geopolitics of Energy and Resources. Her research interests are predominantly within the area of energy law and in particular electricity markets, with a special interest in offshore wind and grid interconnections. Katelijn holds a PhD from Aarhus University, Denmark. Her thesis focussed on a legal framework for offshore wind and grid interconnections. Katelijn also holds a Master and Bachelor of Laws from the University of Leuven, Belgium.
