Bruno Liebhaberg

DG for Centre on Regulation in Europe

Professor Bruno Liebhaberg is the Director General of the Centre on Regulation in Europe (CERRE), a European think tank founded in 2010 at his initiative to contribute through high-level and influential research projects, policy papers and dissemination activities to robust, mature and generally accepted regulation systems and practices in network industries. These include the energy, electronic communications, media, postal, water and rail transport sectors. CERRE brings together some forty university centres, regulatory authorities, operators and infrastructure managers active in those industries. Bruno Liebhaberg teaches at the Universite Libre de Bruxelles' Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management (SBS-EM, ULB). Earlier in his career, he was an adviser on industry in the private office of the former European Commission President Jacques Delors. Professor Liebhaberg holds a Master in Management Sciences from the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management, ULB and a Ph.D in Industrial Relations from the London School of Economics and Political Science."
